Intro to Daniel's Vineyard

Updated: Jul 17, 2018

Hello and welcome to our new blog! Our plan is to share exciting news about Daniel’s Family Vineyard and Winery here regularly. Our first post features a little bit about where we have been, who we are and where we are going!

Our History

We are Daniel’s Family Vineyard and Winery, a local family vineyard and winery located in McCordsville, Indiana, northeast of Indianapolis next to Geist Reservoir. Daniel’s Family Vineyard and Winery was established after Daniel and Kimberly Cook visited several European vineyards, dreaming of someday starting their own. What was once a mere dream quickly became a reality and a family adventure! In 2010, Daniel’s Vineyard became home to 22 acres of vines, offering 10 different varieties of grapes. When 2014 rolled around, the Cook family began the construction of the 24,000 square foot building that consists of the winery, tasting room, upper and lower banquet rooms, and a balcony that overlooks the vines. Completed in 2016, the family vineyard quickly became a popular wedding and event venue.

Our Family

This local family vineyard and winery is owned and operated by the Cook family! Daughters Jenna Cook and Stephanie Cook Pavilonis work together throughout the wine making process to produce the best quality wine. Jenna, an artist, creates the label artwork, as well as the pieces that hang on the walls of the venue. Stephanie manages the family vineyard’s financials. Daughter Carlee Cook Farrell oversees the family business’ social media, retail merchandise, and manages the Cellar Club at Daniel’s Vineyard. Daughter-in-law Jen Cook handles all marketing operations.

The Future

We host a number of special events including Trivia Night every Thursday, Corks and Comedy, Vineyard Van Gogh, Wine and Barre, dog days, and so much more!! We are family friendly and have various board games, outdoor games and a swing set for your family to enjoy! This year’s Summer Concert Series has unfortunately been moved indoors due to the Town of McCordsville’s sound ordinance. We are working together with McCordsville to rectify the issue and come to a solution that will appease everyone.

We are looking forward to sharing news about wine labels, harvest, new products/wines and events with you in our coming posts! Stay tuned!
